Founding Principal
Kiefer is a professional engineer passionate about improving the quality and user experience of the built environment. He has 12+ years of experience in the sustainability / energy industry, having worked for several leading engineering consultancies as well as the City of Calgary. His work across 100+ projects has included policy and program development, transportation fuel switching, renewable energy, green buildings, and municipal service throughout Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Québec. Kiefer earned his Master of Engineering degree at the University of Waterloo, specializing in green energy and green building technology.

Irene has eight years of experience across 70+ sustainability projects including institutional, recreational, commercial, residential, hospitality, educational, and modular buildings throughout Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Québec. Her work covering both environmental sustainability and healthy buildings has included producing strategies tailored to meet client goals in a cost-effective manner, building operations policies, project specifications, building certifications, and energy measurement & verification documentation.

Principal
Kristen is a professional engineer passionate about reducing the impact of the built environment and improving the quality of life of those within it. She has 15+ years of experience in the energy and sustainability field, having worked at and built energy consultant teams at several leading engineering consultancies. Her expertise includes consulting on large multi-disciplinary projects, with a focus on energy efficient system design strategies and energy simulation for net zero carbon/energy and other high-performance buildings, as well as to inform program and policy development at the municipal, provincial and federal level.
Kristen earned her Systems Design Engineering degree at the University of Waterloo.
