Role: Sustainability Consultant

Location: Alberta, Canada

Responsibilities:

  • Project coordination and consulting for new and existing building projects.

  • Conduct meetings, coordinate schedules, and prepare reports.

  • Facilitation of sustainable and healthful-building certifications (LEED, WELL, etc.).

  • Project design reviews with respect to sustainability and certification programs.

  • Completion of embodied carbon assessments.

  • Sustainability specification development.

  • Project construction plan development with respect to certification programs.

  • Field reviews as needed.

  • Generally support sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to manage own schedule, objectives, deliverables and quality control measures.

  • Ability to problem solve and break down complex problems.

  • Ability to work independently (with training and mentorship).

  • Ability to travel to project sites across Canada.

  • Proficiency using Microsoft 365: Outlook, Word, Excel etc.

  • Proficiency in technical writing, reading comprehension and verbal communication skills.

  • Degree or diploma related to environmental science, engineering, or similar technical field.
