Role: Sustainability Consultant
Location: Alberta, Canada
Responsibilities:
Project coordination and consulting for new and existing building projects.
Conduct meetings, coordinate schedules, and prepare reports.
Facilitation of sustainable and healthful-building certifications (LEED, WELL, etc.).
Project design reviews with respect to sustainability and certification programs.
Completion of embodied carbon assessments.
Sustainability specification development.
Project construction plan development with respect to certification programs.
Field reviews as needed.
Generally support sustainability and carbon reduction initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to manage own schedule, objectives, deliverables and quality control measures.
Ability to problem solve and break down complex problems.
Ability to work independently (with training and mentorship).
Ability to travel to project sites across Canada.
Proficiency using Microsoft 365: Outlook, Word, Excel etc.
Proficiency in technical writing, reading comprehension and verbal communication skills.
Degree or diploma related to environmental science, engineering, or similar technical field.
